Default Craigslist

I hope I am posting this in the correct section.
I need a quick reply.
I live in Eastern Canada but want to post on Craigslist in the U.S.
Is there a charge for posting ads on CL?
Thank you.

Hi,
I don't think there is, I think it's like kijiji here in Canada. Hopefully someone in the U.S. will respond for you.

Heard through media sources, Craiglist in Canada, not the safest, and the products they sell, not verified but obtained by theft... Just rumour at this point.. Be careful, for your security.. I know Etsy.com and ebay have better protection and are monitored a little closer.. Always be careful about the settings keeping your home safe..

Just FYI - "they" is no one person, business, or entity. It's essentially a giant garage sale put on by thousands of different people, and you should treat it as such. Buyer beware and protect yourself at all times. Having said that, you can get some awesome deals at garage sales!

the only non-free ads on CL are, I think, jobs and apts in certain larger cities. They have to make SOME money, after all!

I would never buy from craigslist. There is too many other safe places that you could go too. Please don't use them!!!
