Default Giddap, A Very Democratic Donkey

Help! I am trying to reproduce some barn quilt blocks and this is one of them! I have searched the internet high and low and have been unsuccessful, so when I really need help this where I turn! It seems that this same quilt block is also on Obama's political site titled Democratic Donkey but I cannot find the pattern there either. I am willing to pay for the pattern (reasonable price, of course) if only I could find It!! LOL! Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Here's a picture of a barn with the donkey block! http://americanquilttrail.blogspot.c...-st-louis.html

I've been searching the web for you and I am coming up empty handed also. I guess you could download a picture and then transfer it to graph paper to figure out your pieces. Or you could just do it as an applique. Sorry, not much help

On this page is a graph you could copy and make to size.

It isn't a modern pattern. Can't you reproduce it from this? http://museum.msu.edu/glqc/collections_7535.1.html

Not sure if this would help you or not, but I remember when she posted these free paper pieced ones.

I goggled democratic donkey quilt block pattern and quite a few came up. The one from the Spencer Museum of Art Collection has the squares and triangles clearly visible in their sample. You can easily reproduce this pattern on graph paper and make it whatever size you want.
I love the Paperpanche patterns Thimblebug! Too bad I can't find a use or them.

Is this the block you need?
. Giddap appears in this collection:

"Kansas City Star Quilts Block Factory Vol 1"

QuiltPro carries this stand-alone (no need to buy QuiltPro program) block collection. (:see year 1931).
If it's no longer available, PM me, I have the PC application but as the block is made with simple templates it should be easy to draw. SORRY Dunster, I didn't read your post entirely before answering!
