I teach piano to 23. Simply got to draw a line so ... there you are.) Thin mints, those chocolate covered peanut butter ones ... peanut butter sandwich ones ... yummy!
I have to be very firm with my kids and their friends about not thinking the stacks of boxes are not free for the taking!!!!!

I don't buy them anymore, too many moms at work who are selling them for their kids....I would go broke and would surely gain twenty pounds because I wouldn't share...lol

I was a Girl-scout back in the day. I love the cookies but the only "fundraising" benefit is for the cookie vendor. I dont think that parents should be peddling the cookies for the kids. Immediate friends and family are one thing but i hate getting hit up to buy from kids I dont have a connection with. I prefer to just donate a couple of bucks to the troop vs buying cookies. More $$ for the troop vs the cookie vendor. My bad???

One of my friends would ask me to buy cookies and then expect me to drive the 30 minutes to pick them up. I never did. She never delivered them either....i guess she got stuck paying for them.

Karen R. They are $4.00 a box. My little friend (5 years old) hit me yesterday for 3 boxes. 1 for me,1 for DH and (oh yes she did this) 1 for her. Said I never have cookies when she comes over. So today I will be making her choc chip cookies, I felt bad.

I'm right there with you! I have two girls in Scouting, a Junior and a Senior and we are picking up our cookies tomorrow. Good luck! We will be eating, breathing and sleeping cookies for the next couple of weeks too!
