Default Good Deeds Dress

Here is a pattern for a simole, little dress that can be made for children's charities. I sew dresses for local missionaries who go to Africa and Nicaragua, and I have made pillowcase dresses in the past. It might be fun to mix it up a little!

The dress is perfect because it doesn't have any buttons or zippers to break or lose. These children do not have someone to repair such things for them. It is also modest.

I have been peeking through my fabric stash again for some of the smaller pieces that I coukdn't use fir the pillowcase pattern. In fact, I think that it will be fun to mix colors and patterns between the halves of the bodice and skirt. Walk onnthe wild side a little! :0)

Best wishes to all of you who sew for charities too. You are a huge blessing, and I wish that more people were like seamstresses! We all have big hearts!

Dawn

Just this morning brought a little girls dress pattern size 3-8 to make a few dresses for orphan African children. I want to buy some cute bright little girl colors material. If I copy the pattern I can make all those sizes. Hope I can make a difference in some childs life.
