Pride and Prejudice - the Kiera Knightley version - is my movie of choice right now.

What kind of movie are you looking for?

The one movie that surprised me as being very good was Avatar. I watched it with the feeling I wouldn't like it at all but I sure was wrong. Great movie.

Oh that was really good, and I didn't think I'd like it either. Good suggestion!

I just watched The Proposal - a romantic comedy, easy viewing and enjoyable
My favorite all time movie is The Third Man - an oldie with Orson Welles and Joseph Cotton
For a multi part movie - nothing beats Colin Firth's Pride and Prejudice

I loved Avatar, The King's Speech, and I also have my favorites:
Princess Bride, Our Vines Have Tender Grapes, Secret Garden (the original), Little Women, Meet Me In St. Louis. I too, don't like violent (ultra) or cussy movies. Enjoy your gift! Get out the popcorn!!!! Edie
