I was watching the ID (Investigative Discover) Crime Channel. In the middle of the murder investigation with all the mayhem in the house, I noticed a "Quilt" hanging on the wall!! It was a Wedding Ring Quilt.


Now I can't remember if it was the husband or wife doing the killing!!! that Wedding Ring quilt didn't bring them very good luck!!

This has got to stop, right????? LOL

I was watching a police-type tv show a couple of weeks ago (I think it may have been "Elementary") and was absolutely amazed at how many quilts were in that show! There was one hanging on a wall, one over the back of a couch, one on a bed, and one that someone was snuggling with - all in ONE show! I was tickled.

I've been noticing quilts in a lot of the newer shows and commercials lately. I watch re-runs from the 70's and 80's and notice quilts in them, that I don't recall noticing back then.The Aflac duck and the Gieco Gecko have quilts. My youngest GD says their Gramma's must love them to make them quilts too.

We were at the VA Friday. The floor in the elevator had an interesting design, and I told my hubby that it would make a pretty quilting design. He just laughed and said that I see them everywhere! Well, doesn't everyone?

I also notice quilts in shows, watch the 60's show u see nothing but quilts ( bonanaza, gunsmoke etc...) they all have them in them and the old pattern are really nice to see.

That is funny, my hairdresser has square tiles on her floor and while I am under the drier, I find myself "quilting" them.
