Handmade scissors

Thanks for that link to buy scissors from the company. Great. About $84.00 for a pair of 10" dressmakers scissors. I'll have to put those on my wish list.

After watching the scissors video (wonderful) and the weaving video afterwards, what piqued my interest was that the scissors guy had been doing his work for like 50 years and the weaver guy looked quite young. It was wonderful to see them both. Hard to believe that the young weaver was able to find the looms, warping mill, and bobbin winder .... and be able to get them up and running also. I was so impressed with them both for what they do and how they are keeping these "crafts" going. So very nice to see. Thanks for posting this link.

I have a pair of those stork scissors and appreciated to see how they were made and the care that goes into making them. I have a pair of my Grandmother's old scissors and they still cut fine to this day.
