Default My hot tub bowl

I don't know if y'all remember that I was looking for some hot tub fabric. Bearisgray gave me a wonderful idea about some fabric. So I scoured eBay and found some "water" and some "wood". Then I cruised around the internet and came up with a "bowl". I didn't want a flat hot tub and I racked my brain until I found what I was looking for.

The lady I made this for is my husband's COAG nurse, she keeps his blood on an even keel. She hurt herself since our last visit. She slipped while exiting her hot tub at home. Her arm is in a brace until it heals. We also found out with a few well placed questions she loves martini's .

So I found this cute mini Martini set. It comes with a tiny martini recipe book, 2 tiny martini glasses, 2 tiny stirrers and a small metal shaker as well as a mini ice cube tray.

We will give it to her on Friday at my husband's appointment.

Thank you Ladies for the kind words.
B (the nurse) always wants me to bring in my projects so she can see what I have done. I usually make her and the rest of the ladies in the COAG dept. something for Christmas. This year its going to be pot holders. Just don't tell them.....lol

The water fabric looks like real water. I was surprised. That is very cute & so are the martini glasses. She will love it!

Well ladies! Nurse B loved her gift. She said the water fabric looked exactly like her hot tub's water. She was so thrilled that we had thought about her after her fall. There was a bit of teasing among us about.....her tripping on her string bikini tie. One of the other nurses said she got her thong bikini bottom caught on the hot tub......lol
We also asked if there was a "younger" intern with her.......she blushed....lol Although she did mention the Paramedic by name her "saved" her.
