Default Happy New Year

I am just dropping in to wish all my fellow quilters the best of everything. I have not posted since I finished my, "Quilts for Rosy." I haven't sewed a stitch since then lol, but do have a plan to start a quilt for a dear friend of mine and I will post it in a new thread.

I am busy with the new children (puppies) Emily and Milly, they are now 7 months old going on 8 and I have Milly in my lap right now as I am typing. She thinks she needs to be on this board as well.

I got these puppies for a reason and I knew it would be lots of work but I was willing to do it. I know we will loose the two old boys eventually. They are 17 years old going on 18 and I know hubby will be devastated. These new puppies are meant to take some of the pain away.

He is so happy, he loves those puppies and of course I am happy to see him so happy. I will post some pic of them later.

In the meantime, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year and I hope Santa brought you lots of stash......

What kind of puppies do you have? I have a mini dachshund and a lhaso paso. They are "my girls!" They give me lots f love and companionship. My husband is elderly and spends most of his time out in his man cave. If it weren't for my girls I would be alone on my days off work. The mini dachshund, Abby, loves to get into the trash in my sewing room and drag the little pieces of fabric, and batting all over the rest of the house. I just pick it up and say, " I hope you had fun", now I have the opportunity for a little exercise as I clean it all up."

I have two girls, one is a Pappillion and Chihuahua mix and the other is a Mini Dachshund/chi mix. They love each other and are always together.
