Default Wow! A much needed new ketchup bottle?

http://www.tvkim.com/watch/1998/kims...h-tech-ketchup

Leave it to a couple of brain childs to want to solve the ketchup bottle problem. LOL

It has a practical side, it will save lots of wasted food left in the bottom of container, no dirty spoon to wash after trying to scrap out the last bit, and how about putting that coating on shower walls, inside refrigerators, cars exteriors, building so no graffiti will stick? No more dirt to stick to anything. Now this is my kind of invention.

pretty neat.... id like that stuff on the exterior of my car (and some parts of the interior).. Can you Imagine?!??!?! Bird poop just slides right off !!! Clean pristine car every day every time !!! Whoo Hoo no more car washes for me !!

(**very sarcastically**)
now how much will that raise the price of ketchup??
how much will it add to my cars sticker price 5k-10k??
and in 10-20-30 years from now will the coating cause cancer..
(seems like everything now a days 'leads' to cancer...)
if its on my car will it be like im in a microwave ?!?!? hahaha just playin..

Why not just buy the ketchup, that stands upside-down?

We saw this on tv last night. I'm wondering about the coating too. Don't know what it is but don't think I want to be eating more chemicals.

If it turns out to be safe and practical, I could see it being on the inside of lots of things - not only food related like shampoo bottles, conditioner, lotions, etc. Might be too expensive though. I've heard from "someone" or read "someplace" that those containers have a little extra to account for the amount at the bottom you can't get out. So maybe that's how it will stay. Nice idea though.

Yep - that's just what I want - another unknown chemical in contact with my food. Thanks, but NO THANKS! We sill stick with our home-canned ketchup for now.

We just learned about BPA in plastic. They are now studying the effects of the plastic coating inside a lot of cans for soups, sauces ect. I wonder how long it will take before the warning comes out on this? I now buy products in glass jars as much as possible.

I agree with Oleganny. There are already to many chemicals allowed in this country and the FDA is in bed with monsanto and other companies like them. There are so many things that aren't allowed in foods in Europe and other countries, yet they can put just about anything they want in the americans. No wonder there are so many sick and overweight americans. Read www.Rodale.com and get your eyes opened. This is just one good site. Many others. Ole granny, how do you make your homemade ketchup? Would love to know how. Thanks
