I use Synthrapol. Works better, in my opinion, than color catchers.

Whichever one you use, you want to use it in a washing machine that uses LOTS of water. Water is necessary to dilute any bleeds that do occur.

I use Shout Color Catchers, sometimes two or three, depending on the fabric. I have a front loader machine which conserves water and have not a any problems with colors.

I too use Shout color catchers, buy them at Walmart in the laundry section of the store.
