Sounds like a great day for you and the kids. We usually do the cookie thing, but I won't get the kids in time this year, you know, the divorce thing is just that" every other week-end" . It sucks!!

Nana! You forgot me...I call you Nana too! LOL! Have a wonderful time with the children, that sounds like a wonderful tradition to start. I love the Happy Birthday Jesus cake...I have a friend that used to do that with her children. Mine were too old by the time I knew about it:)
Enjoy the 23rd!

That is a great idea and something the grandchildren will remember for years. What a special afternoon for them.

What a wonderful memory you will be providing!!! The gift of time is the best!

This is our first Christmas with our oldest two daughters married. Our daughter Meghan and her husband live in he Ft. Worth area and her husband is a police officer, so he has to work on Christmas. Our other kids voted to postpone Christmas until they could arrive...Christmas without Meghan and Erich just wouldn't be Christmas. Our Christmas Eve will be the 26th and our Christmas day will be the 27th. I am looking forward to being selfish and not having to worry about finishing our gifts or dinner...I get to have them all to myself! :D
