Default Our Quick Trip

We had to go to Ft. Jackson, SC to pick up our grandson after graduation from AIT. We decided to go to NC (just over the SC border) to see daughter, grandson and granddaughter instead of paying for a motel room. It was only 2 1/2 hours away. Just wanted to share pictures of grandson, Shadow (age 9), and granddaughter, Lily (age 5 1/2). We had a safe and fun trip.

Lily was born with Downs Syndrome but oh how we enjoyed the trip and being with them. Covered 1,000 miles in two days.

Sorry I messed up on the description. Lily is 5 1/2 months old. Also, I used the "not paying for a hotel room" excuse as a reason to see the daughter, Tania and grandkids.

Wonderful trip for you! Your grandkids are beautiful ~ and who needs an excuse to go see them (but the saving money is a good one!).

They are both beautiful children. Don't blame you one bit for staying with them. I'm certain that visit was worth every mile and minute!

It was worth every minute. Although it was short and the mileage was tiring, it was WELL worth it.

She is just beautiful and precious. I bet you made the rag quilt also. I am glad you got to see your grandbabies and spend quality time with family, It does not get any better than that.
