Dinner out would be my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices...lol...then next in line would be to call for home delivery, and finally, you could decide to have your hubby fix dinner(but in my case, that wouldn't be an option...my husband doesn't even use the microwave!!!) Naomi

Toaster oven or mircowave, baby. Love those pre-cooked meats and steam veggies. Ice cream malts for supper. Fun times in the quilting room for sure now I am off kitchen duty. Snacks? Canned or frozen friut. Ice Cream for dessert. Farm eggs or french toast or waffles for breakfast. Run the dish washer every other day. Modern women have it made in the shade!!!

I use the crockpot a lot in the summer and plan to use the food for two meals.

tonight we are having fried hominy, eggs, bacon and biscuits. The oven will be hot for 20 minutes but the dinner is very fast.

Fried hominy Cherokee style:

6 pieces bacon, fried, save the grease
2 cans hominy including the juice
fry the hominy in the bacon grease, sprinkle with as much black pepper as you can tolerate, crumble the bacon on top, Yummy!

Delivery is my choice - not only does the kitchen not heat up, but I don't, either, because I don't have to go outside!
