 It has been soo hot outside. Now I live on Lake Superior, so we normally don't get hot weather. The humidity is so high, the concrete walls are sweating. I can't sew since I only have an air conditioner in the living room. I can get about 2 hr early 6am in the morning before the humidity gets too bad.

exactly-
yesturday with all 3 fans we own going i was wondering why we had not at least picked up an air conditioner for our bedroom...oh well- a couple cool showers & we survived- looks like it's going to be a smoker week!
and my goofy cat for some reason really felt the need to be close- lay across me last night- he's a little hot-box! tramatized by the wicked storm that came through during the night.
i just remind myself- i'll be remembering this week when January rolls around!

Oh I am in the same steamy boat. Went to bed last night and it was still 86 degree out. It times like this I am soo happy my sewing room is in the basement. It so nice and cool there.
I actually have a summer bed in the basement for when it gets too hot! Even my dog has become a cellar dweller.

It has been over a hundred here and even with AC it is still hot and when the light bill comes we will wish for snow which we do not get much of in central Texas

I'm in eastern PA and we are expecting another wave of hot stuff toward the end of the week although it already feels hot here. They are saying high 90s.

We're getting it in Connecticut by Wednesday. We are going to have one nice dry day tomorrow and in the 90's for the rest of the week. Thank God for central air.

I sew in my basement and it stays relatively cool all year round.

Same here in the Twin Cities. I'd love to send some of our rain to Texas where it is so needed.
