Would someone please tell me how to get the stickers off of fruits and vegetables? This week alone I have ruined a tomato and a pear trying to get that stubborn sticker off. There ought to be a law!

I HATE them!! you have to take them off when the veg is dry, I learned that much. But I still forget to do it.

I think so too, sometimes you just can't get them off.

I don't know what they are thinking when they put them on. It's disgusting to eat your apple with sticky stuff on it.

Often I cut it off. I agree a nuisance especially if you try and do mountains of apples for 14 apple pies.

I know they put the stickers on there so the checkers will know what to charge, but I don't know why, because I am often charged more than the shelf price that has not been put on the computers/scanners yet. A manager at Wal-Mart told me that has been a problem for them, but they are working on it, trying to get the price changes on the scanners faster. That said, I hate the stickers they put on fruit and vegetables too!

If the fruit or veggie sticker gives me even a speck of trouble, I use a paring knife to lift the edge of it and pull it off.
