I wear an apron and so do my daughters (ages 20 and 17) I believe it is a dieing thing but it sure saves on clothes!

my 13 year old has the same name. ShirlR. Small world. I don't wear an apron. I plan to but never get around to sewing one.

My DD and I are making aprons for our Christmas craft fair.
making sets of Mommie and me and a couple of pot holders to match. will try to post a pic soon. they are so cute i want to keep them. LOL

I used to wear one, years ago when I really cooked and canned and had dessert every night after dinner. I really liked the one that criscrossed in the back and you just slipped into it, no ties. Have looked in the past several years for a pattern for one like that.

I wear them all of the time - mine are all made out of various thicknesses of denim - depending on how much protection I may need.

I use them all the time , even have matching ones for my grandies for when they are here they like nothing better than helping Grams .

I have a couple that I wear once in a while. My DD wore one yesterday as a bib b/c she's always getting stuff on her shirt when she eats! My DGs love to wear theirs when we make cookies.

I do when I cook. I'm 28. :) I've made quite a few as hostess gifts for my friends who are around my age.
