I have 4 signs in my kitchen:
"I serve 3 kinds of meals:frozen, microwave, take out"
"Martha Stewart doesn't live here...deal with it"
"The only reason I have a kitchen is because it came
with the house"
"The best thing I make is 'Reservations'
For these reasons, nope, I don't really need an apron.

I wear one when cooking...I am a pretty messy cook, and would rather wear an apron than have clothes with spots on them. I have an apron a friend made for me, and I have also appliqued on purchased aprons.

I wear them most times. Have ruined to many clothes and learned my lesson. They have made a big comeback and a lot of younger women are wearing them now. They've become a sort of "kitchen fashion statement"!

Comments, anyone?
Did you all see this from Ditter?

I am 54...and I ALWAYS wear an apron...even when I am wearing jeans and a tee-shirt and most definitely when I am dressed in my school clothes between a day in the classroom and an evening meeting! My DD who is 23 loves the aprons I have made her (even though she said her apt-mates would tease her). A couple years ago, at Xmas, I gave aprons to my DIL, 2 nieces, a sis-in-law, and to my asst at school. Everybody loves them and still mention them to me. There are a bunch of cute apron patterns...the one I made them was kind of an assymetrical thing with one side longer than the other. Very contemporary looking.

I love aprons. I have always worn them for cooking. I now have a craft apron that I wear, it just makes life easier. They are coming back into style and use.
