54 1/2. I don't feel any different (at least mentally...physically, that's a whole other subject) than I did at 11.

I've told people for years that I'm 12 - when my 23 year old grandson was 4 he said, "grandma, you can't be 12 - if you were 12 momma wouldn't even be born yet"... pretty good thinking for a four-year-old....
Celebrated my 51st 12th birthday in April... all the grandkids got a big kick out of their 13th birthdays because they were older than me..

I'll be 58 and I to wonder how I got to be that age. I think I'm holding at 35 that was when my youngest was born. I liked that year.

How much fun to read all the posts..

I keep thinking I'm much younger than I am. I feel good.. look normal... can work like a trojan.. Don't need a lot of sleep and hardly ever get sick.. I'm healthy, happy and busy..

but then my sweet daughter said to me, "Can you believe I'm going to be 38 this year?" and I thought.. how can that be when I'm only 34?

Time really has a way of zooming by. Then I had to slow down and look around me.. I have 3 grandchildren, a husband that's retired, and my babies are MIDDLE AGED!! Oh my gosh..

I'm going to turn 64 one week from tomorrow! How did that happen to me?

Hm! I'm a week older than you are Karen! :) November 8th for me...same year!

I don't mind a bit being 53! I mind LOOKING 53, but don't mind BEING 53!

I joke around tho and will tell people that I am 21, with 32 years of experience at it! ;)

I do have to admit to playing into being the "baby of the family" or the youngest of my siblings....~wicked lil grin~

I ALWAYS introduce my sister as "the most elderly of our mother's children" ! (She's 65, and I've done it since she was 50 or so...) She hates that...I laugh every time!!
