I saw a short film of a 4 car garage in San Francisco, CA where the Victorian house had a frontage that slid back to allow 4 cars to inter the garage and then the facade moved back into place. You'd never know that they had such parking, looked like the other houses on the block. Most folks in such towns would kill for such a lovely and secure garage!!!

The apartment itself is almost irrelevant - they wouldn't be anything special (although nice views) if they didn't have this special feature.
