Default Ribbon belts

Has anyone seen or heard about the ribbon belts that can be made? I guess you sew to pieces of ribbon together with a pretty stitch and use d-rings. One of the quilt shops that I get emails from was telling about them. The only problem is that the shop is in another state, so I can't go look at them.

I just picked up 2 in the thrift store for .98 each. The wide ribbon will be used on purses or something. Much cheaper than buying the ribbon.
