lol. I sleep during the day anyways. I've been getting used to the actual hours I'll be working for a couple weeks now. I have noticed the sun comes up way before I go to bed so I had to put extra fabric over my windows to try and blot the sun out. Kind of works. I'm hoping to do a better job of it later or get some super thick dark curtains so I'll have like a bat cave during the day.

Well done, really good news, and clever you for having "practice runs" with the shift times. I believe you can get quite cheap "blackout blinds" that are pretty effective.

My schedule already ran from noonish to 4 in the morning. I just had to adjust by a couple hours. It actually was a little hard the first couple of days, but I've gotten more used to it. Now if I can completely block out the sunlight while I sleep I'll be in business. I need total darkness to sleep and I got that because before I'd get to bed before the sun came up. But now (even after pinning towels to the curtains!) the sun comes up a couple hours before I go to sleep. It seems like I haven't been getting a quality sleep because I'm not falling asleep to complete darkness.

Congratulations to you! Best of luck on getting your sleep... They would find me curled up in a ball for sure!
