Do you have kids? If so ask them, one might have decided they like moms neat box of cards.

I do this enough, but more times than not, I have help. I was looking for my cosmetology stuff so that i could go cut an 85 year old friends hair. Could not find it for the life of me. The last time I saw it was in my car. Finally found it on a shelf in the garage where my so very helpful husband had placed it.
The last thing I lost for quilting is my Teflon pressing sheet. I DID not loan it out, I had not used it for the past 2.5 years because of the hours I was working. I still have not found my original, however, my so very helpful husband did go to the quilt store and buy me a new one, because he was frustrated by my frustration. I'll find it one of these days, but the new one is hanging in my sewing room closet.

Good luck with your search.
Susan

My husband and I do this. It's our car keys. I always put them in a little basket, but DH puts them ANYWHERE. I keep 2 sets in the basket, because I know they'll get lost daily.

Actually it is the leprechauns. They do it to me all the time.
Especially my glasses that have clear frames.

Glad it turned up! I have a great talent for losing things. The more I like something or think it's important, the more likely I am to hide it someplace "special" rather than where it belongs.

I am always losing things. Right now on my MIA list is my GFG quilt top and my favorite 15" crosshatching stencils.

When you find it you will be very surprised of where it is. Keep going, stop looking and it will show up. Just did the same thing with a sandpaper block. Found it in he linen closet. Don't know why it was there

I recently lost my wedding album! Still haven't found it, although I looked behind the Kleenex.

I found the TV remote in the refrigerator one time. We both swear it wasn't us.

So glad you found it. We lost the remote once for three days--found it next time we opened the potato chip bag.
