I used to sell fabric remnants and such at a flea market. One lady was a steady customer and I finally asked her what she did with her purchases.

"Oh, I just take them home and pet them," she said. Love it!!

Is petting them the same as taking them home and sniffing them too? There is something about new fabric smell that reminds me about the way you feel smelling a new car! But better because I can buy more fabric than cars! Maybe I have a screw a little loose but at least I don't drink or smoke!! :-)

My old Hancock's store hired a young girl and she would ask 'What are you making' Well as we all know 80% of our fabric purchases are the ones that WE can not leave behind. So I would tell her -It only said I had to have it and eventually it will tell me what it wants to be. Well I'm still waiting for my ton of fabric to decide what they want to be : )
