if anyone else does this. When I read the posts on the board, I look at the avatars and in my mind the writer of the post becomes whatever is in the avatar, sometimes it is a dog speaking or a cat speaking, sometimes it is a child. Now this can be funny but it can be creepy at times, too. Am I the only one that does this?

Probably. I like the Avatars so much. I love seeing the kitties and dogs and beautiful quilts and families. I wouldn't change a thing.

There is one avatar that I really enjoy looking at and it is Krystna's its an old old old kind of picture of a lady hand sewing and for a long time I thought it was really her until there was a post on what we really look like and she looks nothing like her avatar!!! But I see her name and thats what I automatically see. :)

Same with Lori Peercy....I picture her as a yellowish/orangish sunset. LOL

Well I like the idea of being roses! I do associate The avatar with the person. When someone changes I don't realize who they are!
