Curried egg mixed with tomato sauce (ketchup). Sounds weird but tastes yummy.

Mama used to make a sandwich I should tell you about - "Potato and onion"- (depression era, you know) It is made with real mayonnaise, cold cooked sliced potato and slices of sweet onion all on white bread. It is not my favorite, but I still eat them once in a while - sort of like potato salad on bread!

Other sandwiches that I currently love -1) BLT on rye with sliced avacado added in, 2) the "bobbie:" bread spread with real mayo, sliced turkey, thin slices of yesterday's dressing and a layer of cranberry sauce; 3) another turkey version - this one starts with spreadable cream cheese on bread topped with a light layer of crushed pineapple, thin sliced onions, lettuce and turkey; 4) my hubby's grilled boca burger - he puts this on the grill, adds swiss or jalapeno jack cheese to melt on top at the proper time, we top with grilled mushroom slices, grilled anaheim peppers, sliced tomato and leaf lettuce, on a whole wheat hamburger bun. It' s a meal.

It has to be a reuben, but I like PB with Miracle Whip and dill pickles slices too.

I enjoy a reuben with cold slaw rather than sauerkraut or a good Cuban sandwich.....
