I just love the simple beauty of that dress. I have never been one for glitz and bling, and think the addition of some simple sparkle would be perfect. She will wear the dress and should be comfortable in it, so I say let her make the decision. When he sees her coming down the isle, I doubt he will even notice the dress.

Will he wear a beaded suit to match, Porter Wagoner style?

Not wanting to influence one way or the other (the dress is beautiful just as it is however) but if she decides she does want embellishment, Hancock Fabrics used to have a wonderful line of wedding beadwork pieces. This was when I worked for them back in '03 but I would think they should still carry the line. You might want to check and it would be several types and styles in one place to view and contemplate. Love the Porter Wagner comment earlier...maybe you could pick something up for the groom as well? lol

Classy, simple, elegant! That was my daughter's choice for her wedding last week. I would just add a few jewels at the bottom of the bodice. On the day of...her groom will think she is the most beautiful bride in the world...and,of course, she will be. Those 'over the top' dresses are lovely...but, it should be bride, not the dress, which catches everyone's attention.

Your DD should tell him she loves he dress as it is and that's all he needs to know about it.
