Since I was born in 70'. I don't remember buying an ice cream cone for 10 cents, but I do remember when our local grocery store had a JoAnn Fabrics and a bank inside it!

Gas was $0.26 a gallon and a tostada at taco bell was $0.19 and was served in a paper sleeve, not a box

Ben Franklin's was a "dime store" and in the basement they sold fabric for 39 cents/yard! And they ran it through a little machine mounted on the counter that clicked off the yardage! :)

There were Ben Franklin Stores, with wooden floors

    There were Piggly Wiggly Stores

When I was little, I could sign my name at the 'country store' and it would be put on my parents 'tab'

When we bought glass coke bottle from a machine and all you could get was... a coke
