I have wanted 2 books, 1 oop which cost a fortune. It is Civil War Quilts by Barabra Brackman, it usually sells for around $50 or more on e-bay. The other The Circuit Riders Quilt, this book is about a minister in 1862 in Ohio which is where I now live. I love history can you tell? This is still in print and costs $25 at amazon. A seller on e-bay had both books as 1 auction but only had the listing as Civil War Quilts there was no meantion of the of The Circuit Rider Quilt book. I thought for sure with both books the price would skyrocket. I thought I ahd nothing to lose by putting in a bid. It was about 4 days before the end of the auction and I put a bid in for $20.11 knowing all to well I wouldn't win. I forgot all about it UNTIL last night when I got an e-mail from e-bay with the invoice from the books. I asked for them to be shipped mediamail. Total for both books including shipping.............................under $25..............I am doing the happy dance today.

YUP !!
Ebay has some great little treasures.
I have found it's just a matter of waiting and not jumping as soon as I want something and eventually it will surface again at a cost I like much better and end up winning it.
