I'm teary-eyed. I loved that comic strip from childhood on. Loved all the kids and the cute things they'd say and do. The parents looked like people I knew. Their house and neighborhood looked a lot like places I'd lived in - it was IMO as a kid, the way life just was. Loved the strips showing the deceased grandfather still loving and staying near the grandmother.

sad news. i loved the ones that showed the footsteps through the house and yard, etc.

He will be missed. He was great at showing examples of life as it is with kids and demands of the world. He had such a keen outlook as a child would have with the things that PJ, Jeffy, and the others had to say.
