Ooooh they are so cute! I love kittens and cats and kittens paws are the cutest things ever with those tinyt little pads and soft claws! In the UK we call them Tortoiseshell cats. And there is a genetic trait that makes them almost always female;

"while the vast majority of calico cats are female, there is the occasional male. However, virtually all of these males are sterile. the calico colour is sex linked. For a cat to be calico it must have two X chromosomes ergo the cat is female. In rare instances however a male calico will be produced. This usually happens because the cat has an extra chromosome. So, instead of him being XY, he is XXY. These cats are known as Kleinfelter males."
from http://www.cat-world.com.au/CatMyths.htm

Other genetic traits in cats include pure white cats that are often deaf and/or have one blue, one green eye (our family have a deaf white one but eyes are both green. We have to put sun block on her ears, our old white cat had to have her ears removed due to skin cancer) and ginger tabbies are mostly male due to genetics too.

I find genetics fascinating!

Keep us updated with pics of your babies as they grow!

You got me - BCCA!!! I thought you were a youngster (like me - :D :wink: ).

Pretty kitties! The little tabbies remind me of my Barney when he was small - I saw him at a day old because he came from a neighbour's cat.

Why would I put my thread on the porch?! ;) (They are not allowed inside).
