Congratulations. You did it the hard way, in spite of many chemicals put in tobacco to make them addictive.

You, ALL of you, have my admiration for your strength of mind to quit something with such a strong hold on the human body.

Been about 10 or 12 years for me - hubby and I did it together - never want to go through it again so I will never smoke again.

My quit date was March 16, 2009. I put down the ciggs n picked up a new habit, quilting.

I quit Sept. 1, 2000. I've never been sorry. I remember my doctor telling me "Remember Debbie, it takes the average person 7 times before they stop for good...so don't give up." Took me 3 times so I tell myself I'm better than average. :)
