Wonderful that your work is so appreciated, and what a great way to promote quilting.

If the thrift stores in my area would get a clue, they would do this too!!! I go in an purchase clothing to make doll clothes, quilts, and doggie t shirts and sweatshirts and when I check out they ask who I am buying it for---when I tell them, they always look shocked---I explain that it is cheaper than buying fabric and I can am recycling things which my Granny taught me to do. My friend buys wool clothing and felts it to do wool embroidery--way so much cheaper. I know I am not the only one and if they would have the local paper do a story--their business would explode.

Thanks everyone, I so appreciate all your good wishes. Just to note, it's not actually a job, like with a salary and such. Don't want to mislead anyone, it's still a real honor in my eyes.

DottieBug, I don't have a vintage machine but that would be a wonderful suggestion if I did.
