I have an ipod touch.....will be interested in this thread also.
I download pictures from my computer on the ipod. It is an easy way to share photos or have a picture of a quilt when you are looking for the pattern or colour choices.

Yes I love and am addicted to my ipod. I get books from audible.com just download and listen. yes theres a fee
right now listening to Jennifer Chiaverini series
16 books of quilters fiction and quilting tips
Very good
The winding Ways and Circle of Quilters are 2 of my favorites.
They are serene, interesting, detailed characters, quilter friendships, clean and wholesome for the most part.
A refreshing change.

Listening to books on tape while quilting is my favorite pasttime! We have a library system which has a nice selection of Books on CD. I also heard that Cracker Barrel rents out Books on CD, but I have not been to one of their restaurants recently.

My Ipods are my passion!!!!! I have one just for audiobooks :D
I also belong to Audible. Itunes has FREE audiobooks- the only catch is because they are in the public domain they aren't read by professionals. Some are great though. A lot of the classics are on it.
I get tons of stuff from the library. I only buy audiobooks I can't live w/o :D:D
I listen everywhere, whether exercising, sewing cleaning bathrooms, you name it!!
If you go to Itunes- search for free audiobooks and it will come up. The list is long so I do a search, for example title or author. It takes too long otherwise. Then when I'm finished I delete it from my Ipod unless I want to keep it.
