Default It isn't quilted, but...

Please indulge a proud grandma. This is my 9-year-old DGD with her latest project. Now she is wanting a new machine. Apparently she isn't thrilled with using a 30+ year old machine.

I'm with Mamabear. How I wish I could have that kind of fun! Nothing wrong with wanting your own. She'll learn and find out she may still need to borrow yours.

She did well on her latest project. I can stuff a turkey but have never been able to stuff a toy!

That is adorable and big!!! newer machines can be soooo complicated and expensive with computers and all. Sometimes older machines are wonderful to use. Besides you can't have everything!

I love her project and I must ask - where did you get the pattern? Perhaps you can share that information with us - I think your grand daughter is a born sewer - its nice to pass on the skills to the younger generation.

Lovely! I wish my granddaughter were interested in sewing, but she is into so many activities her first year in HS that she doesn't have time, even if she were interested.
