Default Its all in the perspective

I saw this new meme today and I just broke up.

And just like that -
I went from Fabric Hoarder
to Being Prepared!

Your comment about perspective jogged my memory into something I saw several months ago, about how changing your perspective can change your attitude and therefore your happiness level. For instance...

"I'm stuck at home" becomes "I get to stay home"
"I'm bored" becomes "I have plenty of time to work on a quilt (or clean out a drawer, or something else on your list)"
"I have to cook all the time" becomes "I can now cook healthy, affordable meals for my family"

It doesn't always work for me but it does help most of the time.

And aren’t we glad we have a stash now - I knew that’s why I was saving up so much fabric.

On the days I feel really overwhelmed about what is going on now, I need to remember this thread and that putting things in a different perspective can make all the difference! Thanks quiltingcandy!

Yepper, that is me in a nutshell. I am now watching my stash and using pieces I have had for a very long time. I hope I can use much more over the next couple weeks even though I am not crazy about why I am using it. You gave me my laugh for the day.
