:mrgreen: Yesterday DD had her doctors appt. and ultra sound and it's a GIRL!!!!!! first grandchild. Very excited :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
Watch out fabric stores here I come as well as the clothing. She is due the end of August. Plenty of time!!!!! NOT :thumbup:

AWWWWW Congrats. That is wonderful. I can't wait for grand babies. I just helped my best friend make a quilt for her first grand daughter born in Dec. Kinda made me sad too.

Congrats Machel - I have 5 grandsons, 2 step grandsons and 1 step granddaughter who thinks she is a boy!!! Then there are two other step-step grands - 20 , one with a baby girl a yr old.

Can't wait to see the girl for her!

Oh, congratulations, Machel!!!! My first grandchild, Sarah Elizabeth, was born August 12, 2008. I can tell you now, you'll never see baby clothes (OMG, they are so cute!), toys, quilts....ANYTHING the same again. Sarah is the absolute joy of my life. It's hard to imagine so much love fitting into this old heart, and that a little one's presence can change the world as much as she has. I am sincerely thrilled for you! Go, Grandma!!!!
