Every Friday before Halloween I have a GNO (Girls Night Out) and have my GD's come over for a sleep over and we do lots of fun things. Make cookies and sew or do hand crafts. This has been a tradition for so long. I have 8 GD's but now the older ones are either married or away at school so now there are only the 3 younger ones that look forward each year to our GNO. I get all of us a Halloween shirt or Pjs alike and we slumber the night away and the next morning the Dear Grand Pa takes us all out to breakfast. We love this time we spend with the kids. OH Yes ……the G son’s all go to breakfast with us. FUN FUN FUN.

That's a marvelous memory to be making for them.
I think that if we, ourselves, looked back at our young lives, we wouldn't remember much about who did what and when, just what our loved ones did with US and how it made US feel. That is the memory we want to leave with our children and grandchildren, and if we're lucky, even our GGkids. What we did with them and how we made them feel.
