Have you all seen the NuWave oven on TV? My neighbor has it and swears by it. She showed me how it works, has been using it for 6 months and absolutely loves it -- so does her husband!!! Well, I bit the bullet and ordered it. Got it today, baked an apple and WOW! No residual heat around the oven (necessary when you don't have A/C), and cooks in a good amount of time. Now the part I like...you can cook FROZEN foods in it! She roasted a FROZEN turkey in hers and said it came out sooooo moist. Tonight we're having chicken breast & scalloped potatoes.

Oh -- you can cook on 2 levels....one recipe says to roast your meat (chicken, beef, whatever) and ALSO cook your rice on the bottom level!!! WOW! I'll be interested to see how rice comes out --- sticky????

I'm not a salesman for the company --- just got a new toy and am excited!!! Here's a link so you can see what I'm talking about. https://www.nuwaveoven.com/flare/next?tag=os%7caf]https://www.nuwaveoven.com/flare/next?tag=os%7caf[/url]

I got one last December. LOVE IT. Funny thing is, right after I got it, the regular (big) oven went out. I've never replaced it, because the NuWave does everything the regular oven can, and THEN some. It might be a little small if you're cooking for more than 3 people, but for just me and DH, it's perfect.

DH likes me to wrap frozen corn in foil, with just a spoonful or so of water, and steam it in the NuWave oven. It makes some awesome hamburgers and pork chops, too! We baked a spiral-sliced ham in it at Christmas, and it was absolutely yummy.

The NuWave has definitely earned its counterspace! It's one of the very few gadgets that actually works as advertised.

We had baked chicken breast and scalloped potatoes for dinner tonight. They were WONDERFUL! DH doesn't usually like baked chicken but said this was good and MOIST! I hate breasts usually because they're so dry and this wasn't. Their recipe for scalloped potatoes is awesome, too. All cooked in the oven....using 1 pie plate for the potatoes. I think it's going to be a habit!!!! :)

Sounds delicious and I bet you're saving a bunch of energy too. Try searching Google for more recipes.
