Megan and Leann, sounds like you both have very supportive husbands! We had bitter cold weather last week too which you would think would make me want to exercise more to keep warm. But no, I just huddled in my sewing room with the space heater on. I did get a lot of quilting done and I lost a little weight. Must be all the shivering counts as exercise . I hope everyone else is warming back up this week.

Heather, I'm with you - cold weather does NOT make me want to exercise! Huddling by the heater is much more my speed. Now if I could only get to the losing weight part....

Ok, I will start with I owe a couple of huge apologies. I wrote a couple of weight losses for December on the wrong line. I declared the incorrect winner. Pete is the winner for December with a loss of 2.5 pounds. I am so, so sorry. I listed Megan as the winner, incorrectly. Megan thank you for pointing this out to me.
I have been off for a week or so due to computer issues and I was out late the last 2 night. Again I am so sorry.

Woo Hoo! That means I am eligible for Feb - I love purple!!! Watch out folks - I am finally on a role. Of course I will be going on a retreat for that month and as Meanmom pointed out --- good food will be available at all times. I am trying to think of snacks for me to take. I am also cleaning out my freezer fo Christmas cookies and will take those.

Congrats Pete!
I leave for vacation tomorrow. Will be spending a week in Florida with my mom and 2 of my sisters. I plan to walk my butt off! Hopefully my thighs and tummy will go with it!
Hopefully I will have time to get my fq's in the mail tomorrow before I go.

Congratulations Pete!!! I sent in a pretty amazing purple fabric I took my daughter with me to the fabric store and told her what colors I was looking for. She grabbed a purple that she liked and I fell in love with it when I saw it!!!! You'll have to work hard to find out what it is

Heather! I forgot I had a space heater in my sewing room!! Your plan sounds much better than mine!!!! honestly I haven't been in my craft room at all since mid December except to put away my Christmas gifts and cut a piece of fabric down to a fat quarter to send to Pat!!!! Hahahaha! I don't know what's been wrong with me. And shivering definitely burns calories!!

Congratulations Pete!

Megan, space heater + sewing room = lots of work done! I've actually accomplished quite a bit last week although not on the exercise front. I've been doing a little better this week with exercise. However, I picked up pizza and bread sticks at Jet's Pizza on my way home from bible study this morning and I wasn't good . Will have to be extra good the next few days!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope all are well (and not freezing to death) Here in California, it is a beautiful sunny day. I really should go outside and enjoy it
I did not get my FQ's sent out last Friday, but they should go into today's mail
I am on Baby watch. Grand baby #5 is due Sunday. We were really hoping that she would make a showing before now but...... I know they have their own timing. I just home she comes soon enough that I can still go to the Road to California Quilt show with my friends!
We found out on New Years eve that #6 is in the oven. Daughter #3 has baby #1 due in August. They are just coming fast and furious! Love love love being a grand ma!!!!!
I gained in November and December. As of this morning I have lost most of what I gained for those two months. Not quite all of it yet but hoping that I can get to at least where I was on the first of November by the end of this month. Then to lose another, say, 100 lbs! That would be good

Well, now to find the address to send the FQ's and I will get them in the mail!
Have a great week everyone!!!!

I have a friend who used to own a LQS. SHe had problems with the landlord and closed it. She says she is going to reopen elsewhere, but it has been a couple of years. She runs it out of her basement now. I am going there MOnday and Tuesday all day to work on a wall hanging. I have had most of the supplies for 2 years. It is a cityscape, bargello. I am really looking forward to making it. All the fabric there will tempt me to buy it.
While digging to find my stuff for the wall hanging I found all kinds of fabric I didn't even know I have. I really need to either quit buying fabric or retire so I can sew more.
Weigh in is tomorrow. It should be pretty good. I had a pretty salty lunch today, I hope it doesn't mess up my weight loss. We had Panera. I had one of their broths with chicken and soba noodles. It was really good but is has about 1300 mg of sodium. I am trying to drink extra water to get rid of the salt weight.
