I have a basket hanging outside my back door where I keep extra sunglasses, skin so soft for bugs, etc. A momma bird decided to build her nest in the basket. There were 4 little pink eggs in the nest and today I noticed the eggs have hatched.

cute, I got to watch 3 baby robins grow up as the nest was on the window sill in craft room, one day I was talking to them, closed the window and 2 of them flew away for the 1st time the other one stayed in nest and was scared, and maybe 5 hours later went and talked to it and it flew away

I sure miss them now

cute...same thing happened to my daughter. She hung 4 flowering baskets on her front porch and the following day a bird nested in one of them.

How fun! I really like to watch the Robins, but I have to admit that when the cat gets the sparrows I really don't mind. Shame on me, I know, but there are so many of them and they poo all over my car.
