You send IrishRose a PM with your weight loss, once she received the PM's she will post the winner and then you send the winner am PM for her snail mail address.

Hope this helps

Well I've managed to end the month at the same weight I started it at! Not great but it has been an up and down month so I'm chalking this one up to just a learning curve!

The morning workouts are going well, so hopefully that will help with July and loosing weight then! I think the contest my sisters and I have started using the wii fit board will help getting me up off my butt as well next month!

Morning, y'all. I haven't weighed in yet. This mystery continues - did I lose my two pounds?

Jeanne, whining is allowed. This is a weight loss thread and our lives are part of the weight problem. I can't imagine having a migraine. The occasional headache I have would be minor to you, but I don't function well with it. I live with pain in my back and my feet, but I think orthopedic pain is more tolerable than stomach, head, ear or tooth pain. I hate any of those so you have my sympathy, concern and care. I'm sure others feel the same way. I hope your chiropractor helps. I love mine, but don't see him until the 6th. I fell down hard Saturday night and would like to see him sooner, but I can wait.

pnptrapp, no loss is no gain. I bet with the exercise you've converted fat to muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. It also burns more calories on a daily basis.

pinebeltquilter, 7 pounds isn't meager. It's almost the perfect two pounds a week. Good job! I'll post the winner in a few days.

MJ hasn't posted, so I'll start the July thread. I don't really want it in my name, but I understand if she just isn't up to it. MJ is such a good facilitator. I look forward to her posts. I'm still thinking summer florals. The trouble with patriotic is the FQs wouldn't be mailed until August. Then August can be fall colors so they'll arrive in September unless anyone thinks that's too late and we should do autumn now. I personally can't wrap my mind around autumn fabric right now. Summer is so short in northern Michigan and don't want to think of it ending. I don't like heat, but I love my flowers. My roses are gorgeous - well, some are - some need a little care.

Enough of my rambling. Have a good day with good food choices and lots of water (yeah, you, Judy). I still fall down there.

I AM losing weight and becoming healthier.

My prayers are with all of you that are dealing with physical issues or emotional issues. Being a schizophrenic, I can truly relate.

I like the idea of patriotic because I make patriotic quilts all year round for Quilts of Valor. If anyone is interested in learning more about those projects just let me know!

I do not know yet how much more I have lost since surgery. They rescheduled my first fill to next week, so I will know more then.

Yesterday I had a bad problem at the mental health clinic I go to everyday. Yesterday they did not put me on the schedule to see any of the case managers. That is a bad thing because I go in everyday to get my day's meds. They told me I just had to sit and wait until there was someone available. My mom went berzerk when she heard that. SO, needless to say, they got my meds to me right away. Now I have a new schedule for the next two weeks. I so hate change! Mom went in with me today in case they tried to be ugly with me. Thankfully they did not.

I am sitting here eating a banana and a cup of peaches. Yummy.

I hope you guys are safe this weekend! My sister gets married on Sunday. My brother is officiating. Yay! I am looking forward to spending time with my brother.

Anyway...be safe...be sane...have fun!

Missy, aren't mothers wonderful? For me, it's my daughters. On one of my surgeries, a man came to the room where I was prepped for surgery and said to come with him. He did not identify himself, was not wearing a hospital nametag and didn't bring a wheelchair. When he insisted, my second daughter, who was my responsible adult that day, went ballistic and informed him I wasn't able to walk without my shoes which were locked up and who was he, anyway. C is very tall and can be very professional when she needs to be. He quickly identified himself and took the whole bed with me in it.

createfourpaws has volunteered to keep the list for July. Thank you. I guess I'd better go sign up and get my name on it.

I just had a half a sandwich. With celiac disease, I don't have such things except a grilled cheese when the craving hits. It tasted very good, even without wheat or yeast.

I AM losing weight. Judy

So glad your daughter was there! I would have been upset too. Have you ever been to the King Arther Flour site? They have a zillion things for gluten-free cooking. Just an idea!

I hope you have a great day!!

Missy, that sounds like an oxymoron. Gluten free from the King Arthur flour site. Thank you for the idea.

My daughters are wonderful when it's their turn to be my 'responsible adult.' C was on her way to her condo in Florida when I called to ask her. Her teen age boys wanted to turn around and come hold my hand while I waited for the surgery. She told them that's not what I asked for and kept going.

I AM losing weight.

i didn't lose enough weight to win this one, so i'll work toward victory next month lol. my victory for june is a slow but steady loss , so that in itself is victory enough!(darn avocado ice cream!) (oh, yeah. darn lack of self-control). congrats to the winner! i will be looking forward to sending your fq. do we really want to call it that? maybe we should call it a "larger than skinny quarter, but it IS losing weight". just an idea.
jholm, i'm sorry about your migraines. this is my season , too. sometimes as many as three start-ups a day. july is not my favorite month! i've had a rotten headache for the last week and a half, but not as intense as a migraine,tg. if we can't air our linen here, then where? you are among friends and loved ones ! love, strength, and peace to all. n

On the plus side, you didn't gain any, right? If I'm at least the same weight I was at the start of the month I feel it's a good start.

I've always thought we should keep a running total of how much weight we lose with out factoring in the gains...I wonder how many 100's of pounds we've all lost over the years?
