Just had to show y'all pictures of my handsome son and his fiancee at this year's military ball. He will graduate from College and get his commission in December and they are planning a spring wedding as soon as he gets his dates for Officer Basic School.

He sure does look handsome in his uniform. They do make a lovely couple. I remember those days, my DH was in ROTC and got commissioned as soon as he graduated from college. We had been married a year and a half by then (he graduated a year and a half later than he was supposed to) At his commissioning I was 8 1/2 mos pregnant. DD was born 3 weeks later.

I'm sure that you are proud of your son and his decision to serve our country.

Yes I am! He has been in the Army Reserve since sr year of high school and spent a year over in Iraq/Kuwait right after graduating. After that, he decided that he could make a difference as an officer and joined ROTC when he finally got to college.
