I love this idea as well. Where do you find 60 inch fabric? I don't understand this part. I bought 2 yards to this. I believe it's 44 to 45 inches wide x 72 inches long. Will this work?

I know I'm thick. Can you take each pillow out separately to wash etc.? I love the idea and must make one for me. Age over 60. Wish I had one this moment as after op problem sitting.

That's great and fast to do! Thanks! I added ties to mine so it's easy to stack and store.

Owl.. yes you really need 60 inch fabric, I use Jersey knit or else you will have to double the fabric. Yes, you can slip the pillows out for easy washing because the back is as a pillow sham. SHADOWIRISH... you did very good on yours! I use a ribbon to tie mine, but you could add ties. Also, Dh suggested that I add ties to mine so I can tie them together so it can make one BIG pillow bed on the floor when the grandkids stay all night. Fun Idea, I may try that. I did get four of them made for Christmas, but made four I Spy quilts too. Everyone loved their gifts from Nana! Thinking about making a couple more pillow beds to have here on hand.

OH MY GOODNESS... I just had a BRAINIAC ATTACK! Travel beds... you know when you travel, take the sham only with you and use the extra pillows on the beds or get more from the desk to fill your Pillow Bed for the kids to sleep on! When we were younger and traveled with the kids on leave, at least two always had to sleep on the floor. If I had these back then... NO ONE would every had to camp on the floor of a motel room. They give you 4 pillows per bed and sometimes extras too! Sheesh! Well, there you know!
