One of the most fun times I ever had was driving my 2 sons and a few of their friends around to TP houses. I was forever after known as the "cool mom". It was harmless fun, not done to be malicious.

such fun memories... my AP Bio students placed a gigantic banner across the front of our home proclaiming "Quarantined" the day after their AP test... along with lots of tp and shaving cream... They "forked" the AP Chem teacher the same night...

fun memories...

I guess some people have no sense of fun. It is such a harmless prank. My DGS goes to a small private school, K - 12 and on game days after the pep rally during football season all the trees in the front of the school are TP'ed. It's there the next morning and is gone and cleaned up by the end of the day. The kids have a great time doing it, it's a tradition now.

I don't think there was any meaning behind them. The kids were just being goofy. The forks stick nicely in the lawn and ground. I don't have a clue why they used tortillas!!! That was strange. I was concerned when the dogs ran out the door and started eating them. We had no idea anyone was out there "decorating" our front yard!!!

This brought back memories if when our 4 were young and we got TP'd quite often. One year, I did drive my nieces and my DD's over to my youngest brothers home and they TP'd the heck out of his house and lawn. He has pulled enough tricks on me over the years, I thought it was time to pay it back. He was not upset at all and agreed that he deserved it. LOL We never did it again though. Ahhhh such memories of getting up and having to go out & clean things up. I rather it be TP than paint that so many use now. *shudder*

I agree TP it harmless, alot of kids today use things that are not so harmless. I will take TP anyday. This does bring back memories for me as well. Fun times with our kids as they grow up : )

There's a "prank" they do now that's actually a fundraiser. You pay $10 or $15 to the football team (or whatever the group is) and they go to an address you specify and stick 50 or 60 pink flamingos in the yard. They come back 2 or 3 days later, retrieve the flamingos, and ask THAT homeowner if there's someone they want to prank for a fee, and on it goes. It's pretty funny!
