I'm looking closely at the B&N Nook -- when I went to my local Barnes & Noble on Saturday, they said all the stores are going to have a Nook for demo and testing purposes, as of today. So if you're thinking of buying one, go check it out at the store.
I wish I knew someone that had a Kindle so I could try it out...I'd like to compare it to the Nook.

I'm picking up some interesting info here and hope that more are forth coming.

Right now I'm annoyed with the whole thing, but if I do decide to get one, I'll get the Kindle. Then I can "read" a book while I sew! That's why I like books on tape - I pop one in when going on a long car trip - usually hubby does all the driving, so I can knit, read a book and get where I want to go - all at the same time! The only thing better than doing 2 things at once, is doing 3 !

Yeah - that's what I thought. I don't think I'd like that, but it wouldn't stop me either. I doubt I would use that feature while travelling - might use it in the sewing room, but if I really didn't care for it I would just borrow audio books from the library.
