Have a kindle - it's great! One of the nice results is that I download all kinds of free books from Amazon, and end up reading things I probably would never have bought - and end up liking them.

I have an IPad and love it. Besides my sewing machine it is the one thing I have that I use EVERY day. For reading, it is my address book, my checkbook register, lots of games, watching TV and movies, and going on internet. Often at night I am on this board on it instead of the computer as I can curl up in a cozy chair and read the posts instead of sitting at a desk. Or I can get on the board where ever I travel.

Nook Color and love it! I chose Nook over Kindle because I read a lot and download the majority of my books from the library. If you live in MA, you can get a free Boston Public Library card and dowload books from them - the selection is incredible and I read pretty much everything I want.

My fiance has both and likes the Nook Color much better - he says it's easier on his eyes. We bought my dad one for a combo birthday and Father's Day and he is beyond thrilled. He said it was the best gift ever!

I started with a Nook because my eye Dr. recommended it for my eyes over books because of it's clarity. From there I went to the iPad and it has become a part of me. I now have over 220 quilt patterns on it. Several quilt mags, all of my contacts, etc. Many of the quilting pictures for reference. Recipes, my schedule, I am now adding the large pcs of my stash. I have a design program OMG I love this iPad. I even Skype from it.

I have Kindle DX and love it. I like the bigger size, easy for these old eyes to read in bed. I also adjust the print size.
