My mother (age 87) has sheep and geese. The mice love her barn and she has been hesitant to get more than one old kitty. So I got a couple from my friend and took them to the barn this weekend. Talk about happy little fur balls!! Mother is sure enjoying watching them too. They were so cute I wanted to keep them myself!! They follow each other like little twins, which is what they are!

Then when they got to the top, it was a whole new view!

They found haystrings everywhere, and it was like a party to them.

And wow, it was fun to climb! Better than the backyard they were raised in.

Not sure - maybe 7 or 8 weeks. Old enough to be very independant and happy. I think both are boys, but I'm not very good in that area.

Water and food, in addition to mice, will be provided?

Oh ya, Mother babies all her animals. She pets them, makes sure they have lots of crunchies, plus scraps from roast beef from dinner, bowl of water, and a blankie to sleep on. Those little guys will live like a prince.

Oh, good. I grew up in an environment where the barn cats pretty much had to fend for themselves.

What cuties! I hope they're better mousers than my Barney - he just sits in the door to the chicken house and WATCHES the mice play! lol
