Default laser light

Just read the laser light thread about those lights from harbour freight. Anyone know where to get one in Canada.

true4uca, I do not know where to get one in Canada, but if you want to PM your address to me, I'd be more than happy to mail you one. I drive by a Harbor Freight everyday on my way home from work.

I posted about the laser. My cousin in Vancouver, Ca did get one, but I have one also and after working with it I would not recommend it. Even at just $6. I found marking my machine plate is still the best. Also -the laser has tiny, strong magnets in it that took forever to remove. It needed constant adjustment and seemed that the base on the machine front was always in the way of my eye line to the needle. Small stuff, but just not worth it!

I'll look and see if I have an extra one - I used to have 2 and I know I gave one away. I'm in Canada so it would be easy to mail to you.

The post I saw where the lady was happy with hers was mounted on her machine with the tape so there should be no moving around that way. I haven't used mine yet and will be probably another week before I'm ready to start quilting. If I remember I will post my review after using it a day or two. I really, really want it to be terrific.

I just use a pocket laser from the smoke shop. Taping it sounds good, though my LA has a fixture to hold it.

I am thinking of getting this one. It shoots out a light vertical and horizontal. I thought it would help with squaring quilts.

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but any thoughts?

redstilettos, that would be handy for cutting batting off the roll, too. Thanks for posting it.
