That's wonderful. I didn't get to see my daughter. It was over an hour away and I had to work that day. We have been there for her awards and promotions though. Her highers were very accomodating. They even let my dad, vet, pin her the last time she got a promotion.

Hope he enjoys it as much as my daughter does.
Blessed are the quilters, for they are the piecemakers.

Such a handsome you man, he is very serious looking, I think he will take his job serious.
    Thanks to him and you.

Our oldest Grandson just went to Virginia to serve for the next 3 years in the Old Guard, he and his family just moved in yesterday on Andrews Air Force Base. It will keep him from going to Afghanistan, he was in Iraq for two tours of duty.

You have every right to be so very proud! I would have loved to have a pic like this of my son when he joined the Marines. He just got back from Afghanistan last month. Please tell your son Thank You for putting his country ahead of himself. He's awesome!

Good looking boy. You must be proud of him. My GS is in the national guard too. He left a boy and came home a man.
Please tell him thanks from us all.

Please give him a big hug & tell him thanks for serving for me. I ususally hug o shake hands of the military personal that I meet. But he is a little far off for me to do that in person.

God bless him and keep him safe.
The quilt you see, is a part of me.
In your hand is the sum of my parts
My mind, my body and a piece of my heart.
Wrap in it, lay on it, cry, and dream.
It's made to help you know what love means.

My son served in Germany at the time the Berlin Wall came down. I surely respect those that go into service. May God bless him.
